My Story

For as long as I can remember, I would always watch my mother & father while they cooked. Whether it would be breakfast, lunch or dinner, every time there was a reason my mother & father would host family and friends and loved to cook for all the events, of course, I would jump in and help every chance I could. During my younger years, my dad would take me to his part time job in various diners around Warwick & Cranston. I could cook during school holidays and summer
vacations. That is when my love for cooking began. I learned the NY diner style of cooking and how to create the famous Rhode Island hot wieners. I was hooked on this concept at such an early age. Since then, my dream has been to open my own diner.

While I attended high school and college, I worked in various restaurants in Warwick. The most memorable experience was working for Teds NY System & the Noon’s family at the Governor Francis Inn. I am so grateful to all, and I learned so much from them during my formative years.

After graduating from Johnson & Wales University, I went into career mode. I moved to New Jersey, back to Rhode Island, Back To New Jersey, then to Pittsburgh, and back to New Jersey. During this time, I worked in various hotels, and corporate venues where I gathered solid culinary experiences. All the while my dream of opening my own diner was still a dream.

After being away from RI for 26 years. I moved back home twelve years ago. Always wishing and dreaming of the day I would one day open my own Diner. After rebuilding myself and with the encouragement of friends and family my dream is now my reality!

Welcome to my dream!
